Welcoming our Seminarian, Kevin McGrady
I welcome our Seminarian, Kevin McGrady, to our parish community this week. Kevin is a member of our parish and belongs to the Religious Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives (Latin: Ordo Sanctissimae Trinitatis et Captivorum; abbreviated OSsT). He has just completed his theological studies in Rome in preparation for his diaconate and priestly ordination. He is looking forward to making his Solemn Vow on October 29, 2022 in Catonsville (Baltimore), Maryland. His diaconate ordination is expected in December 2022 or January 2023. His priestly ordination is expected to take place in June 2023. Kevin will be joining us at the Vigil Mass tomorrow, Saturday, August 27. Join me in welcoming him and please keep him in your prayers as he prepares for his Solemn Vow and ordination.
Thank You
I thank everyone for your prayers, cards, gifts and good wishes during my Birthday celebration on Wednesday of this week. I usually like to keep my birthday celebration low-key, but this year was full of surprise celebrations for me. Our SJB students gave me a big surprise birthday celebration on Wednesday with a birthday card from each student. This has been my best birthday ever, and I still have more celebrations this weekend.
