Congratulations on Meeting Our CDA Goal!
Congratulations to all our parishioners on meeting our diocesan goal for the Charity and Development Appeal (CDA). I thank all those who have participated in the Appeal this year. The report this week shows that 173 families from our parish community made gifts to the CDA with a total pledge of $102,281. This represents 105% of our total goal of $97,274. I again thank those who have already participated. Even though we met our goal, I still encourage those who have not yet participated to consider sending in their pledge or gift this week. 30% of the funds raised over our goal will go back to St. Benedict! The CDA envelopes are available in the Narthex or go to https://give.dphx.org/.
Parish Lenten Mission/Retreat in Spanish
Our second Lenten Mission/Retreat will take place from Monday, March 31st to Wednesday April 2nd next week. The retreat will be directed by the coordinator of our parish Hispanic Ministry, Martin Zavala. I invite our Spanish-speaking parishioners to come with your families and friends to join us at the retreat. You do not have to RSVP to attend. Felicitaciones a todos nuestros feligreses por haber alcanzado nuestra meta diocesana para la Campaña de Caridad y Desarrollo (CDA) de este año. Agradezco a todos los que han participado en la campaña. El informe de esta semana muestra que 173 familias de nuestra comunidad parroquial han hecho donaciones al CDA, con un total de $102,281 en promesas. Esto representa el 105% de nuestra meta total de $97,274. Nuevamente, agradezco a quienes ya han participado.
Aunque hemos alcanzado nuestra meta, quisiera animar a quienes no han participado a considerar hacer su promesa o donación esta semana. El 30% de los fondos recaudados por encima de nuestra meta regresará a St. Benedict. Los sobres del CDA están disponibles en el Nártex y en los bancos de la iglesia, o pueden donar en línea en: https://give.dphx.org/.
Misión/Retiro Cuaresmal en Español
Nuestra segunda Misión/Retiro Cuaresmal se llevará a cabo del lunes 31 de marzo al miércoles 2 de abril. El retiro será dirigido por el coordinador de nuestro Ministerio Hispano parroquial, Martín Zavala. Invito a todos nuestros feligreses de habla hispana a asistir con sus familias y amigos.

Charity and Development Appeal

Stations of the Cross/Fish Dinner Join us for Stations of the Cross in the Church every Friday during Lent. Stations will be at 6 pm (English) and 7 pm (Spanish).
In addition, we have a Fish Dinner available at 6:30 pm in Annex 3. Tickets on sale in the parish lobby from 5:40 pm until 6:40 pm. You will get 2 pieces of fish, corn tortillas, coleslaw, chips, water and dessert for $10 per person. You can also get it to-go!

Lenten Penance Service
Come to the St. Benedict Lenten Penance Service on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 pm. Please be prompt since the evening begins with a liturgical service and Act of Contrition. We will have a number of priests to hear confessions.
St. Benedict 3rd Annual Gala
Save the date to attend this festive evening on Saturday, May 3 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at The Marriott Phoenix/Chandler (1600 S. Price Rd., Chandler 85286).
The evening starts with cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner. Raffle and silent auction items will be available along with musical entertainment. Join fellow parishioners as we enjoy the evening and each other.
