Lenten Penance Service
I would like to remind everyone that our parish Lenten Penance Service is on Tuesday, April 8 at 7pm. Several priests from the parishes in our deanery will be coming to join us at the service. We will begin with a Communal Penitential Rite, followed by individual confessions. Please invite your family and friends to come and join us.
Retirement of Ministry Leaders
I would like to inform you that Dennis and Gayle Siewert are retiring from their leadership in the Rummage Sale Committee. I thank Dennis and Gayle for their excellent leadership, commitment, and personal sacrifices in coordinating the rummage sale for the past several years. I am glad to know that they will remain involved in the committee as members and also in other ministries.
I am glad to announce that Mark and Debbie Fitzgerald will be taking on the leadership roles in coordinating the rummage sale moving forward. I thank Mark and Debbie for their willingness to help us lead the committee. I assure them of my prayers and support in their new responsibilities.
Similarly, I would like to inform you about the retirement of Kathy McCluskey from the Pastoral Care Ministry. I thank Kathy for her excellent leadership in the ministry and for her dedication, support, and care for the sick, grieving, and home-bound in our parish community. I thank her for her assistance and support with the transition and her continued support for the ministry.
On the same note, I am glad to introduce Terri Bauer to you as the new coordinator of the Pastoral Care Ministry. I thank Terri for her willingness to lead the ministry. I assure her of my prayers and support in her new responsibilities.
Servicio de Penitencia Cuaresmal
Quiero recordarles a todos que nuestro Servicio de Penitencia Cuaresmal parroquial se celebrará este martes 8 de abril a las 19:00 h. Varios sacerdotes de las parroquias de nuestro decanato nos acompañarán en el servicio. Comenzaremos con un Rito Penitencial Comunitario, seguido de confesiones individuales. Por favor, inviten a sus familiares y amigos a acompañarnos.
Jubilación de Líderes Ministeriales
Quisiera informarles que Dennis y Gayle Siewert se jubilan del comité de la Venta de Artículos Usados. Agradezco a Dennis y Gayle su excelente liderazgo, compromiso y sacrificio personal en la coordinación de la venta de artículos usados durante los últimos años. Me complace saber que seguirán participando en el comité como miembros y también en otros ministerios.

Stations of the Cross/Fish Dinner Join us for Stations of the Cross in the Church every Friday during Lent. Stations will be at 6 pm (English) and 7 pm (Spanish).
In addition, we have a Fish Dinner available at 6:30 pm in Annex 3. Tickets on sale in the parish lobby from 5:40 pm until 6:40 pm. You will get 2 pieces of fish, corn tortillas, coleslaw, chips, water and dessert for $10 per person. You can also get it to-go!

Lenten Penance Service
Come to the St. Benedict Lenten Penance Service on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 pm. Please be prompt since the evening begins with a liturgical service and Act of Contrition. We will have a number of priests to hear confessions.
St. Benedict 3rd Annual Gala
Save the date to attend this festive evening on Saturday, May 3 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at The Marriott Phoenix/Chandler (1600 S. Price Rd., Chandler 85286).
The evening starts with cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner. Raffle and silent auction items will be available along with musical entertainment. Join fellow parishioners as we enjoy the evening and each other.
