Dear Parishioners,

You might have heard the very sad news about the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who passed away yesterday, April 21st. Pope Francis will be remembered for his Servant leadership model, his love and care for the poor and those in need, and for his tireless devotion to God and the Gospel. 

I invite all our parishioners to join together in prayers for the repose of the soul of the Pope. We are all invited to observe the tradition of the Church known as "Novemdiales," the nine days of mourning observed throughout the universal Church following the death of a pope. Let us remain united in faith and gratitude for Pope Francis’ life and ministry, praying for the Church he so lovingly served. 

Here in our parish community, beginning from yesterday, we are including a Mass intention for him in our daily and weekend Masses. We will inform you when the date for his funeral Mass is confirmed.
