I am glad to introduce and congratulate the new leadership of our Parish Pastoral Council. Please join me in extending a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to: 

They were all elected to their new roles during the Pastoral Council meeting on Wednesday this week. I assure them of my prayers and unwavering support as they step into their new roles. Their commitment to serving our parish is a blessing, and I am confident that their leadership will guide us with faith, wisdom, and dedication in the times ahead. Let us keep Pam, Jerry, Lisa, and Carola in our prayers, asking for the Lord’s guidance and strength to accompany them in their important responsibilities. Together, we continue to build a vibrant and spiritually enriched parish community. 

 

Congratulations to our newly elected President of our St. Benedict Legion of Mary group (Our Lady of Miracles Praesidium) Tina Lefu’a. I thank Tina for her commitment to the Legion, and I also thank our Legion members for entrusting Tina with the responsibility of leading our newly formed Legion Group. I assure Tina of my prayers and support in her new role. May the Blessed Virgin Mary guide her in her mission, and may the Holy Spirit fill her with wisdom, courage, and grace in this new responsibility. We are confident in her leadership as she continues her service with humility and love. 

 

We encourage everyone to learn more about the inspiring work of Our Lady of Miracles Praesidium. The officers convene monthly with the Curia to discuss spiritual reports, work assignments, and plans for community outreach. Active members meet every Thursday at 9:15 AM at St. Benedict Church, and you are warmly invited to join them for prayer and fellowship. 

Looking ahead, we are excited about the upcoming work assignments, including visiting group homes, hospitals, and the elderly, supporting youth ministry and religious education, and engaging in specific parish projects. We welcome new volunteers to help us carry out these spiritual works in unity with Our Lady under the guidance of our Spiritual Director, Fr. Augustine. If you are interested in participating, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Tina at stblom@stbenedict.org. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our community through faith and service. 

 

I would like to sincerely thank all of our parishioners who have generously supported our parish mortgage through the monthly second offertory and personal donations. Your sacrificial financial contributions have allowed us to make significant monthly payments, helping us to reduce our debt and build a stronger foundation for the future of our parish community. If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate in this effort, I kindly ask you to pray and consider supporting the second offertory this weekend and the 4th Sunday of each month. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference and brings us closer to our goal. Thank you once again for your continued faith, generosity, and support.

Todos ellos fueron elegidos para sus nuevas funciones durante la reunión del Consejo Pastoral celebrada el miércoles de esta semana. Les aseguro mis oraciones y mi apoyo incondicional en el desempeño de sus nuevas funciones. Su compromiso de servir a nuestra parroquia es una bendición, y confío en que su liderazgo nos guiará con fe, sabiduría y dedicación en los tiempos venideros. Mantengamos a Pam, Jerry, Lisa y Carola en nuestras oraciones, pidiendo la guía y la fuerza del Señor para que les acompañe en sus importantes responsabilidades. Juntos, continuaremos construyendo una comunidad parroquial vibrante y espiritualmente enriquecida. 

 

Enhorabuena a nuestra recién elegida Presidenta de nuestro grupo de la Legión de María de San Benito (Our Lady of Miracles Praesidium) Tina Lefu'a. Doy las gracias a Tina por su compromiso con la Legión, y también doy las gracias a nuestros miembros de la Legión por confiar a Tina la responsabilidad de dirigir nuestro recién formado Grupo de la Legión. Le aseguro a Tina mis oraciones y mi apoyo en su nuevo papel. Que la Santísima Virgen María la guíe en su misión, y que el Espíritu Santo la llene de sabiduría, valor y gracia en esta nueva responsabilidad. Confiamos en su liderazgo mientras continúa su servicio con humildad y amor. 

Animamos a todos a aprender más sobre el trabajo inspirador de Nuestra Señora de los Milagros Praesidium. Los oficiales se reúnen mensualmente con la Curia para discutir informes espirituales, asignaciones de trabajo, y planes para el alcance de la comunidad. Los miembros activos se reúnen todos los jueves a las 9:15 de la mañana en la Iglesia de San Benito, y están cordialmente invitados a unirse a ellos para la oración y el compañerismo. 

Mirando hacia el futuro, estamos entusiasmados con las próximas asignaciones de trabajo, incluyendo visitas a hogares de grupo, hospitales y ancianos, el apoyo a la pastoral juvenil y la educación religiosa, y la participación en proyectos específicos de la parroquia. Damos la bienvenida a nuevos voluntarios para ayudarnos a llevar a cabo estos trabajos espirituales en unidad con Nuestra Señora bajo la guía de nuestro Director Espiritual, el Padre Augustine. Me gustaría agradecer sinceramente a todos nuestros feligreses que han apoyado generosamente nuestra hipoteca parroquial a través del segundo ofertorio mensual y donaciones personales. Sus sacrificadas contribuciones financieras nos han permitido hacer pagos mensuales significativos, ayudándonos a reducir nuestra deuda y construir una base más sólida para el futuro de nuestra comunidad parroquial. Si aún no han tenido la oportunidad de participar en este esfuerzo, les pido amablemente que recen y consideren apoyar el segundo ofertorio este fin de semana y el cuarto domingo de cada mes. Cada contribución, por pequeña que sea, marca una diferencia significativa y nos acerca a nuestro objetivo. Gracias una vez más por su continua fe, generosidad y apoyo.
