Dear friends,
Happy Independence Day weekend!
As we celebrate the 250th year of America’s independence, let us pause to thank God for the incredible blessing of living in a country where we can worship without fear. Let us also be reminded that freedom is not without cost; so, as we celebrate, let us also be grateful to those who sacrificed for our rights and give thanks to the One who made the ultimate sacrifice for our eternal freedom. As Christians, we know that true and lasting freedom can only be found in Jesus Christ, who liberates us completely. We pray that God will hold this great nation in His hands.
On this very special occasion, I pray my brothers and sisters that our hearts shall be filled with love for this country and its people and may we channel our freedom to serve one another in love.
God Bless America!
Please be safe, be kind and may God Bless You.

Queridos amigos:
¡Dios bendiga a América!

Parish Water Drive
During this time of year, when the temperatures are creeping up, we start the parish Water Drive where we collect cases of water for the homeless and the St. Vincent de Paul dining halls. Each week the SVdP Water Truck stops by and picks up all the donations and distributes them. Please bring your much-appreciated donations of water to the parish lobby before Mass or anytime during office hours. Thank you!
