Dear friends,
Eucharistic Adoration, Evening Prayer and Benediction
I would like to remind you that Eucharistic adoration is ongoing and at 5:50 pm, we shall have Evening Prayer (Vespers) combined with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Eucharistic adoration is a special opportunity to be in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ —body, blood, soul, and divinity. Let us close our day and our week in the peace of Christ and join together for a solemn evening of prayer.
Back to School Blessing
Now that students have started going back to school, Fr. Emmanuel and I will bestow a special blessing at all the masses this weekend on students of all grades and ages. We pray that the summer break allowed for quality time with family and an opportunity to refresh so as to come back renewed for the new school year. Let us remember to be grateful to the teachers and school staff that have worked hard over the break to prepare for this new year. May our students' minds be open and eager to learn and hearts that are filled with the capacity to be kind and supportive of one another.
Please be kind and may God Bless You.

Queridos amigos,

Water Drive - Ongoing
The temperatures remain high here in the Valley of the Sun, so please continue to donate cases of refreshing water to the parish lobby.
Each week the St. Vincent de Paul water truck stops by and picks up all the donations and distributes them to the homeless on the streets and the SVdP dining halls. Your contributions are very much appreciated by many.
